Michael Alligood Joins Cogent Team as Operations Analyst


ATLANTA, GA, July 14, 2014 -- Cogent Growth Partners, LLC (Cogent), the buy-side M&A advisory firm specializing in information technology (IT) services industry mergers and acquisitions, announced today that Michael Alligood has joined the firm as its Operations Analyst.

With a career spanning over 15 years in the technology field, Mr. Alligood has shared in the success of owning/operating two IT service companies in his professional career.  During his tenure in the IT services space, he has also served as a Partner Communications Manager at a prominent industry vendor where he continued to hone his process, procedural and customer services chops and also as the Chief Operations Officer of a Florida MSP. He brings this background to his key role at Cogent in determining pre-transaction client and acquisition candidate operational synergies and opportunities as well as further analyzing candidate business operations during the due diligence process.

He resides in Jacksonville, FL with his wife where in his spare time he enjoys reading biographies and business related books as well as keeping up with his interest in photography.
